5:00 pm-6:30pm, Yousuke Koizumi/ Wheel Throwing Demonstration and Slide presentation

Yousuke Koizumi
 from Shimpo Ceramics will have a Wheel throwing demo with slides on the history of Japanese Ceramics.

Ian Chung
from Cone Art Kilns will have a Electric Kiln Workshop
>Learn how to troubleshoot your kiln by using household items
>Learn how to achieve a wood fired look on your pieces in an electric kiln

Karen Wise
from Shimpo Ceramics will have a demonstration and slide presentation.
>Slide show: Historical Native American potters, current Native American Potters, Current contemporary artists and methods of building, decorating and firing.
>Clay Demonstration:Throwing and trimming closed forms, free-hand carving techniques, and other decorating methods.
